Beijing Tong Ren Tang is a company focused on the traditional Chinese medicine industry that was founded in 1669 (Qing emperor Kangxi eight years), since 1723 it was dedicated to Imperial medicine, after eight generations of emperors over the span of 188 years. In the course of more than 300 years of history, the Tongrentong dynasty has always adhered to the ancient principle of "creating even though it is complicated, we dare not to save on labor, and taste will not reduce its physical resource," and establish a self-discipline of " Awareness, created in the pharmaceutical process through caution and a strive for excellence”, the spirit of its products to create "unique formulas using an excellent choice of materials, exquisite workmanship with significant effect" and world-renowned products that’s been marketed to more than 40 countries and regions.

Since 2018, TRT Health has established a plantation of American ginseng in Wisconsin, the United States of America where the American ginseng originated, following to the acquisition of NCG Ginseng Inc., and vigorously develops high-quality American ginseng.
