SEASONAL FARM Worker

WORK LOCATION：

Farms located in the town of Green Valley, Marathon County, Wisconsin, USA

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

Seasonal Full-Time

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Seasonal Farm Worker works outside on the Company's ginseng crops. This position works in a fast paced and hot environment. This position works most of the time directly under the sun while completing daily production goals. This position ensures that the farm runs efficiently and meets all production demands accordingly to Company's needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

·      Possess the ability to make decisions about how to pace their work to stay healthy and avoid injury

·      Use protective equipment to complete tasks when required

·      Stays on top of weed growth in various fields. Works outside at all times and in all types of weather

·      Bends to weed, plant, cultivate, and harvest Company's products

·      Drive equipment to apply chemicals; must be able to use these tools carefully, effectively and in a safe manner

·      Follows instructions as directed by Field Coordinator or other member of management

·      Self-motivated, responsible, reliable and able to works independently to complete all tasks

·      Team player; is able to communicate with all teammates

·      Reports and is accountable for reporting any observed safety hazards

·      Pays attention to work detail

·      Complies with all Company's policies and procedures

·      Other tasks may be assigned by management and Field Coordinator

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·      EDUCATION LEVEL COMPLETED - High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

·      YEARS & TYPES PRIOR WORKING EXPERIENCE - Three months of experience in crop farming are required

·      LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY - English speaking is preferred, but not required

·      MATH SKILLS - Basic math; sum, subtract, divide & multiply preferred
